According to Channel 7, Perth Airport (Perth airport) has a sleeping module that allows international and domestic travelers to nap while waiting for a transfer.

Perth Airport, in collaboration with Finnish companies GoSleep and SmarteCarte, has installed eight sleep modules in the T1 area.

The sleeping compartments contain seats that can lie flat like the business class of an airliner, as well as removable shields for privacy. There is room for storing luggage under the seat. The sleeping module also comes with USB and GPO sockets for passengers to charge their phones or computers.

Brown (Kevin Brown), chief executive of Perth Airport, said passengers, the hub of western Australia, are connecting flights in a variety of ways, many of them with short stops. These sleeping cabins will provide passengers with a comfortable place to rest.

It is reported that passengers can book the sleeping class online, 12 Australian dollars per hour. A discount is available for longer bookings.

The chief executive of GoSleep says there are currently 15 international airports around the world equipped with sleep modules. Perth Airport is Australia`s first such sleeping cabin airport.
