According to Perth now, before the rest of Christmas is sold out, supermarkets will be served hot cross bread months before Easter, a situation that is often talked to by the media program. However, now Australian supermarket Coles has a new plan to sell hot cross bread all year round.
It is reported that due to large customer demand, Coles supermarket is trying to sell four hot cross bread throughout the year.
Hancock (Freddie Hancock), the store`s bread manager, said in a statement that in weeks, sometimes months, customers often ask the supermarket bakers if they are still baking hot cross bread.
It is understood that from the end of 2018 to Easter this year, Coles supermarket sold a total of 12.5 million bags of hot cross bread.
