It has been 60 years since Mr Squiggle (Mr Squiggle), the protagonist of the children`s TV series, first appeared on the screen, attracting Australian children with his ability to paint, according to Australian News. To commemorate this classic and artistic character, Woolworths and the Royal Australian Mint (Royal Australian Mint) jointly launched a limited edition of A $2 coins.

The puppet guru, Norman Heiserington (Norman Hetherington), the creator of Mr. Squiggle, died in 2010, handing over Mr. Squiggle`s famous role to his wife and daughter.

Heather Linton`s daughter Rebecca (Rebecca Hetherington) also attended the limited edition of the 2 Australian dollar coin launch on the 14th.

She said it was an honor for the Royal Australian Mint and Woolworths to honor her father`s work in this unique way. These coins perfectly represent Mr. Squiggle`s interesting and imaginative world view, just like her father. She was pleased to share the opportunity with Australians who grew up with Mr. Squiggle and loved the role and introduced Mr. Squiggle to a new generation of children.

It is reported that the Royal Mint designed four different 2 Australian dollar coins, issued once a week, will enter circulation from the Woolworths supermarket. The first A $2 coin has been issued.
