According to the Daily Mail, a retired man in Brisbane found a forgotten scraped lottery ticket in a shopping bag and was surprised to find himself awarded a $ one hundred thousand prize.

The man from Brisbanbrimba (Bulimba) is reported to have often bought lottery tickets, but he has forgotten a $5 Diamond Dazzler scratch card ticket. The ticket was found only recently in a reusable shopping bag.

After the man scraped the lottery ticket, he was surprised to find that he had won the first prize with a prize of A $100000. He bought the lottery ticket at Brimba`s selling point, Oxford Street News. Wednesday, the man went to exchange bonuses, excited, he said he had never thought he would be so lucky. He said he would use the money to repay the loan and a Mediterranean cruise.

The man said they bought an off-the-shelf scratch ticket every few weeks, but this time it was completely forgotten until the shopping bag was checked.

When he scraped the lottery ticket, he even confirmed after repeated confirmation that he had won the lottery.
