Australian entrepreneur Craig Wright (Craig Wright) publicly admits he is the founder of the online virtual currency Peter coin "Nakamoto" (Satoshi Nakamoto). His admission ended years of speculation about who invented Bitcoin.
Wright provided technical evidence, using Bitcoin, known to be owned by Bitcoin inventors, to support his claim. Some prominent figures in Bitcoin circles, as well as the Bitcoin development caucus, also said Wright was telling the truth.
Shortly after Wright revealed his identity, Bitcoin Foundation`s Gavin Anderson (Gavin Andresen) endorsed Wright`s claim on his blog. "I believe Craig Wright is the inventor of Bitcoin," he wrote.

After the news, Australian authorities quickly searched Wright`s home. But the Australian tax authorities said the search had nothing to do with Bitcoin, but rather a long-term investigation into taxes.
