Pan Chengzhu, a Sydney-born "prospective college student", was sentenced to 80 hours of community service for hiding 394 MDMA for attending the festival, the Daily Mail reported. Now she may face jail time.

The new state attorney general`s office, (Director of Public Prosecutions), has decided to appeal against the court`s lenient decision against Mr Pan last month.

Pan Chengzhu was sentenced to 12 months of disciplinary orders, including 80 hours of community service, after he pleaded guilty to supplying illicit drugs at the Baohuo District Court (Burwood Local Court). But she claims to have committed the crime to help her family.

A senior police officer is reported to have filed a petition with the Attorney General`s Office to consider an appeal. On Feb. 22, Pan Chengzhu will appear at the (Parramatta District Court) District Court in Balamata.

On December 8, Pan Chengzhu, an 18-year-old Asian girl living in (Canley Heights) in Kelly Heights, was arrested at the "(Knockout Games of Destiny)" music and dance festival in Sydney`s Olympic Park (Olympic Park).

The so-called largest indoor music festival in the southern hemisphere ended with tragedy. (Callum Brosnan), a 19-year-old boy found lying down at Sydney`s Olympic train station, died of an overdose of take drugs.

Pan Chengzhu`s lawer Khurana (Cheryl Khurana) said her client had agreed to smuggle drug at the festival to help her family with economic, saying her decision was "very immature" and that the whole family was shocked by her actions.

It is reported that Pan Chengzhu has just finished the college entrance examination (HSC), examination by Sydney University of Science and Technology (University of Technology Sydney) undergraduate nursing major admission. She is said to like to cross-country, playing Australian label rugby (OzTag), worked four nights a week at Subway`s. Since her parents separated, she felt obliged to help her mother.

She then, at the instigation of acquaintances, agreed to make money from drugs at the music festival. When she was carrying drug to the music festival, she was found by an anti-drug dog. She immediately confessed to the crime.

A total of 394 pieces of MDMA were found in condoms and paper towels hidden by Pan Chengzhu, police said.

However, Security judge McManas (Louise McManus) did not accept Mr. Pan`s claim that he had committed a crime because of the difficulties of his family, economic, saying "this is a deliberate and serious crime."
