According to the Messenger Post, a man was forced to return to Australia on an uncontrolled flight from Kunzhou to Singapore on a cheap airline called Cool (Scoot).
It is reported that Cool Airlines flight TR7 scheduled to fly from Gold Coast to Singapore, the entire journey needs 8 hours. However, only one hour and 20 minutes after the flight took off, a man on board had self-harm and had to be forced to do so.
The plane was forced to return and landed at Sydney. around 04:30 Gold Coast time.
A spokesman for Cool Airlines said the aircraft chose to return and land in Sydney instead of the Gold Coast in order to reduce interference with other passengers. Sydney Airport is larger and has better handling equipment.
It is reported that the man was handed over to the Australian Federal Police (Australian Federal Police) and paramedics. Other passengers are scheduled to travel to their destination on Cool Airlines or Singapore Airlines (Singapore Airlines) later this evening.
The Australian Federal Police confirmed that investigations were continuing into the incident and that no one at prosecute was present.
