Such a situation is a headache for Australia, so the Australian government is now working on a new visa to ease the burden of family care in Australia.

The program, proposed by Alex Hawke, the federal assistant immigration secretary, is called mutual benefit special visa and caregiver visa!

The visa will allow overseas families to live together for 12 to 24 months. In fact, is to take care of young children, working 7 hours a day, 5 days a week, no week can receive 255 Australian dollars in remuneration. The cost of board and lodging for foreigners is also borne by the host family.

That`s a lot lower than the current $900 a week for parenting families.

Filipino domestic helpers on the streets of Hong Kong

At present Australia imported foreign labor visa only work visa and work holiday visa. Work visas have just been reformed to separate short-term work visas from medium-and long-term immigrant visas. On the other hand, a working holiday visa is intended for young people to work for a short period of time. If the baby-sitter visa is approved, it will open up a new channel for Australia to import labour.

This visa sounds fantastic, but it`s not really new. Canada has a visa like this. Hong Kong also has a large number of Filipino domestic helpers with this visa to stay in Hong Kong.
