Police in Kunzhou have also opened an investigation into suspected impersonation of crimes as part of an investigation into the placement of strawberries sold in supermarkets.
Less than a day after it was revealed that a stitched needle had been inserted in a strawberry sold by a Woolworths in Kunzhou, Coles of (Gatton), Queensland, also found small metal brazing at the top of some plastic boxes of strawberries yesterday, the Australian news agency reported.
Police suspect that the incident may have been a imitation of the crime, but also under investigation.
Schultz (Adrian Schultz), a strawberry grower on Kunzhou`s Sunshine Coast, said many farmers would have had a hard time this year, fearing they would be made worse off by the proliferation of copycat crime.
Queensland police also confirmed that a boy in Glaston (Gladstone) took strawberries to school on Tuesday and had a needle in his mouth.
The boy`s mother, Stevenson (Angela Stevenson), said that when she cut strawberries for her child, she found a needle in it and realized that strawberries were also in her son`s lunch box, so she immediately called the school. Said the school needed to stop her son from eating strawberries. Five minutes later, the school told her that her son had been stabbed, but fortunately he threw up the needle and told the teacher.
But the first Kunzhou man was not so lucky last Sunday. He swallowed half a needle and had severe abdominal pain and had to go to the emergency room.
As of yesterday afternoon, in addition to the first incident, the authorities had received four reports of metal foreign matter in boxes of strawberries, as well as two in Victoria, in addition to the above-mentioned incidents in Kunzhou.

The Kunzhou Strawberry growers Association said the two affected strawberry brands, Berry Obsession and Berrylicious, were from the same farm, and that some farm worker might have made a fool of it in an effort to vent his anger.
However, the police are skeptical of the speculation and say they are open to the investigation at this stage, as it is possible to be inserted in the process of growing strawberries to complete the production process, to distribute them and even to go on shelves.
