The funeral of Mahmoud "Mick" Hawi, a former Sydney motorcycle leader, took place yesterday after a police officer clashed with a number of mourners and video flowed out of the scene.

At noon, a luxury convoy carrying Harvey`s coffin moved slowly towards Sydney Lukewood Cemetery (Rookwood Cemetery) until one of the limousines was stopped by police.

According to video outflows, a police officer stopped several mourners at (King Georges Road), George King Road, near Willy Park, (Wiley Park). The mourners came close to the police and said, "Brother, there are 30 of us. Two of you, show respect." Police officers pushed the mourners away, holding the Taser gun, saying, "I don`t care. All of you will be searched and locked up."

Police have not yet issued a statement about the incident, and none of the people said to have made any mistake in the video.

Harvey, 37, was born in Beirut, Lebanon`s capital, and came to Australia to become one of the most feared gang leaders. In 2009, Harvey took part in a violent fight at Sydney`s airport, sending Hell' S Angels gangster Zevias (Anthony Zervas) beat to death. Harvey was sentenced to jail and kept a low profile after his release from prison in 2015 until he was shot dead last week.

There was also a large gathering of mourners at Sydney Lukewood Cemetery.

Police have launched a large-scale investigation, are looking for two suspects, and have taken measures to guard against retaliatory attacks.
