Cameron (Ross Cameron), host of Australia`s Sky News (Sky News), was fired for using discriminatory language to describe Chinese tourists on his "outsider" (Outsiders) earlier this week.
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, the former Liberal congressman said on Tuesday night: "if you arrive at Disneyland in Shanghai on any morning of the week, you will see 20,000 black hair and squinting eyes. The yellow-skinned Chinese are desperate to enter Disney. "
In a statement released this afternoon by Sky News, its CEO, Whitaker (Paul Whittaker), said Cameron`s wording was "totally unacceptable" and apologized on behalf of Sky News.
"I announced today that Cameron`s contract with Sky News has been terminated," Whitaker said.
"Sky News is committed to promoting heated discussions and debates, but its wording is totally unacceptable and there is no place in any of our platforms, and even in modern Australia."

It is reported that the Australian media regulator, the Australian Media and Communications Agency (AMCA) received complaints after the broadcast of the programme, but instructed complainants to contact Sky News first.
