Yesterday morning, Qantas flight QF590 from Perth to Adelaide was hit by a medical emergency during the flight to prepare for the Kalgoorlie local airport.
The flight took off from Perth airport at 6:50 local time, and then a man was unwell on the plane.
After landing, the 70-year-old man was able to walk out of the cabin on his own before being taken to the Kalgoorlie local hospital by an St John ambulance.
It was understood that his condition would not be life-threatening.
The plane replenished fuel at Kalgoorlie and arrived at Adelaide Airport at 12:45 local time, an hour and 45 minutes later than expected.
