A new state woman has been sentenced to at least 12 years in prison after she angrily stabbed her boyfriend in the back and died after she suspected her new boyfriend had killed her pet cat.

One night in October 2014, a new state woman, (Rachel Impson), stabbed her boyfriend, Insley (Michael Insley), outside her tent on a black island in (Lake Illawarra region), Lake Irrawala, according to Radio 7.

In April, 42-year-old Simpson was convicted of murder.

Today, the New State Supreme Court, (NSW Supreme Court), announced the sentencing of Mr. Simpson, who was sentenced to at least 12 years in prison.

Judge Walton (Michael Walton) said the victim, Insley, had "a certain degree of provocation." At the time, Simpson was "in a state of high emotional tension," not only because of the death of her pet cat Angel, but also because she had mental health disorders. (he Rong)
