One chinese student from the mathematics department of the former australian national university (Australian National University) was prosecuted for setting up cameras in the school shower to stealthie others.

Huang Junqi ,22, appeared in court yesterday at the Capital Territory Security Court (ACT Magistrates Court). court heard that the camera could have been placed in the school`s shower compartment for up to 10 days without anyone noticing it.

Huang Junqi did not contest the charges of trying to observe others.

Huang Junqi holds Chinese nationality and has no criminal record. He was president of the Australian National University Super Brain Association (Super Brain Society). It is alleged that the Association is committed to "developing the brain "," discovering Australian National University students with a strong brainpower "," exploring the world of genius ", etc.

A prosecutor, atkinson (Brigid Atkinson), said police were investigating mr. huang`s laptop and mobile phone for pictures taken by the cameras.

Mr. Atkinson says he will no longer be associated with the Australian National University since he was removed from his dorm. He may have fled Canberra.

According to her, the police accusation very powerful to Huang Junqi. Security footage from the scene showed him in the relevant shower.

court document shows that this hidden surveillance probe photographed Huang Junqi installation of their own camera for stealthie.

court heard that his visa could be revoked and deported from Australia in the event of his dismissal from Australian National University. He will remain in Australia during the trial unless authorities grant him a special visa.

Atkinson says if mr huang is allowed bail, he may remotely manipulate electricity and tamper with evidence. The chief security judge, Walker (Lorraine Walker), said he had little risk of tampering with evidence. Huang has been granted conditional bail.

Mr. Walker has asked Mr. Wong to hand in his passport, to prohibit him from entering the Australian National University campus or within 100 metres of the two victims, and to stay in places designated by the Chief District Corrections Service. The school promised to help him find his home outside school.

Once convicted, he faces up to two years in prison.
