Earlier this month, Perth, a 12-year-old girl who had a baby, was pregnant by her 14-year-old stepbrother.

Earlier this month, Perth, a 12-year-old girl who had a baby, was pregnant by her 14-year-old stepbrother.

Astonishingly, the healthy baby's father lives in the same house as the girl, and she is pregnant at the age of 11.

It is understood that the girl did not know she was pregnant until she gave birth at Perth's house.

She was taken to King Edward Memorial Hospital to give birth to a healthy baby.

A spokesman for the Community Service said they worked closely with the police and the Department of Health to ensure the health of three children.

The department previously confirmed that the young father knew the young mother.

Chris Dawson, the head of the Western Australian Police Department, said the focus of the matter was health.

"this is a tricky and sensitive situation, but our main concern is to ensure the right support," he said.

"while the police are investigating, the focus is on health."

Three girls aged 13 or under had children in 2017, according to the Western Australian Department of Health, and that figure was close in 2016.

In 2017, 91 women aged 16 or under had children, the youngest registered mother being 12.

Since 1980, 12 12-year-old girls have had children in Western Australia.

Federal Aboriginal Health Secretary Ken Wyatt says he's troubled because a young mother can't have a normal childhood.
