A river bed collapsed in a rural area this afternoon when three boys were fishing, including an 11-year-old who died, according to Radio 9.
At about 2 p.m. This afternoon, a riverbed collapsed in Moreon (Molong), west of (Orange) in Oran, where three boys were fishing. The police rushed to the scene after receiving the report of the accident.
(NSW Ambulance), a new state ambulance agency, said one of the 11-year-old boys died on the spot after being seriously injured.
Another 8-year-old boy was injured and rushed to hospital for treatment.
The situation of the third boy is unknown.
At present, the police are investigating the accident.
