Nine days ago, a man drove a white Suzuki SUV through the busy intersection of (Flinders Street) on Flinds Street and (Elizabeth Street) on Elizabeth Street nine days ago, injuring at least 19 people.

"the loss of our father`s life as a result of senseless violence is a devastating blow to our family," Crokareth`s family said in a statement. Father is irreplaceable, and we will never recover from such pain. "

Crocarius`s family thanked all those who helped the injured in the first place, as well as medical personnel, and hoped that the public would respect their privacy.

Freier (Doug Fryer), assistant director of the Victoria police`s (Victoria Police) highway police command, said the death of Crocarius was a tragedy and that such loss of life was unnecessary.

It is understood that the police have charged the 32-year-old driver, Nori (Saeed Noori), with a number of charges, including 18 counts of attempted murder, 1 count of acts threatening the safety of others` life, and so on. In the next few days, Police may also escalate charges to murder.

Earlier this week, Melbourne District Court (Melbourne Magistrates Court) learned that Nori may have mental problems or an undiagnosed illness. Nori will go to court again in May.

It is reported that Crocarius is the first unfortunate death in the incident, six others are still in hospital.
