RMIT recently defendant!

What was the big deal that brought the prestigious Melbourne university to the forefront of the storm?.?

It wasn`t anyone else who told RMIT, it was, Edward Allon., a lecturer in aerospace and aviation at the school. But the lecturer now has to add the word "front".

It is reported that Allon exposed his colleagues to the school to help foreign students cheat in the exam, RMIT not only did not carry out an in-depth investigation into the incident, but fired Allon! All kinds of aggrieved Allon had to sue the former employer for compensation.

After a long investigation, George Brouwer, an investigator, sued RMIT. for "allowing poorly trained, incompetent aerospace students to graduate and put the lives of aircraft passengers at risk".

In addition, the Brouwer commissioner also found in the investigation that a school lecturer, Nihal Hana, had helped foreign students cheat in the exam and that "the staff who exposed the incident (i.e., Allon) was not only unsupported, but also reprimanded by the school."

Allon complained that he had submitted to the school evidence that the Hana sold the answers to foreign students, and in such circumstances, RMIT not only failed to investigate Hana for disciplinary violations, but also merely asked him to supervise and guide the Hana. To a certain extent, Hana allowed malicious rumors to suppress and retaliate against himself.

He revealed that because he reported the matter to the investigation agency, RMIT directly dismissed himself in a restructuring. Allon said it had caused very serious psychological damage to himself and asked for moral compensation from RMIT.

In an effort to increase the likelihood of success, Allon asked the agency to make its findings public, which was rejected by the agency`s office. Last week, however, the Supreme Court rejected the agency`s request not to make its findings public, asking the agency to disclose its findings, in addition to phone records and professional content.

Brouwer, an investigator, found in a 2010 report that Hana was burdened with more than A $80, 000 in gambling debt, a dark history that undoubtedly added to the credibility of Hana`s bribery.

He also found that Hana helped three students cheat and corrected scores for 17 cadets.

In addition, the manager of the Civil Aviation Safety Administration also submitted evidence that some of the aerospace majors who graduated from RMIT were manifestly inadequate, "putting public safety at risk."

Hana had been suspended during the investigation of the survey, but he denied all complaints against him.

Brouwer also found a number of fraud problems with RMIT in its investigation, and the school has accepted the proposed overhaul and will act on it.

Shelley Brady, a spokesman for the RMIT, said there was no response to specific events until the court`s results came out.

Netizens don`t seem surprised at this. In their view, foreign students are of course much more important to the school than a certain teaching staff. After all, foreign students are the "cash cow" of the school. In order to keep the master`s father, even if these students cheat, have poor ability, and have a low standard of English. The school will still allow them to graduate smoothly.

So is this pot the school, the lecturer, or the overseas student? In his personal opinion, no one can exonerate himself from responsibility. But what we can do as foreign students is to strictly abide by the school rules, and continue to improve their business capabilities, with strength to prove themselves. After all, you didn`t just lose your face.
