According to Perth online, the Australian Border Guard (Australian Border Force) found more than 1 million cigarettes in two containers from India. Perth, a man was acciused smuggling charges.

It is reported that in February, through X-ray inspection and dog alert, the Australian Border Guard found a container from India suspicious.

The agency later found 1104 kg of molasses tobacco, 810000 cigarettes, 77.58 kg of chewing smoke and Kamini banned drugs containing opium in the container.

Molasses and cigarettes are taxed in excess of A $1.84 million.

Australian Border Service officials then searched a business in Osborne Park (Osborne Park) and a home in Scarborough (Scarborough).

Was acciused, a 48-year-old man in Scarborough, was charged with importing goods in violation of (Customs Act) `s Customs Law. At the Perth District Court this Friday.

The Australian Border Service investigated the second container that arrived in March and seized 1608 kilograms of molasses, four hundred and eighty thousand cigarettes and 98.2 kilograms of chewing cigarettes.

Newman (Emma Newman), the Australian Border Agency`s Western Australian regional commander, praised the workers who found the first suspicious container and said the seized smuggled cigarettes would significantly reduce the illicit supply of cigarettes in the Western Australian market.
