The fact is, however, that the Immigration Service quietly released a bill on June 28th on the 17 / 18 list of immigrants` careers, but did not report it on any public platforms or in the state media. The following figure clearly shows the date of enactment of the latest bill and has officially come into operation (please note "in force")

According to the latest document, the updated MLSSL and STSOL will be formally implemented on July 1.

Accounting, auditing, IT categories (2611, 2613, 2631), Mechanical Engineering 2335, other Engineering 2339, Electronic Engineering 2334 and so on.

It is worth mentioning that a new career, ICT Security specialist, has been introduced into the latest MLTSSL list, which will take effect from July 1, 2017. This will be great good news for the vast number of students studying Information Secuirty and Assurance.

ICT Security specialist career assessment is consistent with previous IT categories, related to 1 year of Post work experience / ICT career year. This will undoubtedly greatly ease the current grim situation of the entire IT immigrant army.

In the MLTSSL list released on April 17, 2017, six occupations will unfortunately be excluded, as follows:

Following the frenzied removal of 200 occupations on April 19, 12 more will be removed from List of eligible skilled occupations, nine of which are specifically targeted at applicants for 457 and 186, and the bill will come into effect on July 1, 2017.

At present, the overall immigration quota for 17 / 18 has not been announced, welcome to follow the Australian Weekly News, and the details of the new starting point immigration experts team will bring you the latest policy reports at all times.
