However, during the five-year period from 2012 to 2016, 47 car accident, occurred on the major roundabout and 4 on the small roundabout, with a total of 51 unchanged.
Britannia is still the most serious traffic accident in South Australia.
It is reported that, Adelaide City Council`s recommendations to reduce Britannia turntable traffic are part of Council`s review of traffic data and urban ring upgrades.
Adelaide City Council staff said underground passageways or overpasses should be considered at Dequetteville Tce,Wakefield Rd,Fullarton Rd and Kensington Rd ports to reduce accidents.
