According to the Australian news agency, Australia has planned to revise the anti-piracy law enacted in 2015, which is expected to prompt search engines such as Google (Google) to remove pirated TV series and movie websites with search results. Make these pirated websites more difficult to search.

The amendment also requires Internet service providers to respond to requests by copyright parties to block pirated websites and to quickly block agents or mirror websites set up to circumvent the ban.

The case was introduced into the House of Representatives yesterday. Government minister Fletcher (Paul Fletcher) said the changes would help Australia`s creative industry protect its interests in a rapidly changing media environment. He told the House of Representatives: "these industries have taken voluntary measures to make their content more accessible and cost less, as well as awareness-raising campaigns to sensitize Australians to the effects of piracy. Now it is time for parliament to act in support of their work. "

Burke (Graham Burke), chief executive of Weixiu Entertainment Group (Village Roadshow), said the current law had reduced piracy by about 45 percent. But Google fosters crime, leads people to illegal websites, and completely ignores Australian law.

Under the amendment, search engines are required to extend the ranking of websites that contain pirated television programmes and movies, or block the pirated websites altogether, at the court directive.

"Internet piracy is theft," said minister Feifid (Mitch Fifield), a newsletter. Downloading or broadcasting pirated movies or television shows is no different than stealing DVD from a store. " He said government has supported Australia`s creative industries through subsidies and tax breaks.

"We can`t let Australian creators become victims of online piracy," said Senator Fefield.

Under current law, federal courts can order Internet providers to block Internet access to pirated websites. The new rules will also include overseas websites and document hosting service sites under current restrictions and speed up blocking agents and mirrored pirated websites.

Google search automatically complements the word "free download" when users enter only the name of an Australian movie, Burke said. Google has become a treasure house of stolen goods, and the copyright protection amendment will close the back door, he said.
