Five expatriates were jailed for planning to import 182kg of drug into a remote beach in Western Australia, Perth Today reported. The five are from a multimillion-dollar methamphetamine group whose sentences add up to nearly 125 years.
In the early morning of May 1, 2016, the Australian Federal Police intercepted the vessel Mega Profit II, the largest methamphetamine in Western Australia`s history, valued at more than 91 million Australian dollars, in (Mid West beach), a beach in the west-west of Western Australia, and intercepted the vessel involved in the case. Thirteen people from China and Malaysia have been accused of importing commercial quantities of border-control drugs, including five men.
The 13 men included the crew of Mega Profit II and their cohort on the shore.

Earlier, the judge ruled that seven of them were involved in the methamphetamine group, five of them-Cheng Fucai (Fook Choi Ching,), Tang Qiancheng (Chee Seng Tang,), Liu Qichang (Kai Cheong Law,), Wang Digang (Teck Kong Wong,) (both Yang Jinwen and Yang Jinwen) were sentenced to imprisonment by the High Court of Western Australia on Tuesday morning.
Liu Qichang was sentenced to 26 years` imprisonment and 16 years` imprisonment before applying for parole; Yang Jinwen and Wang Digang were also sentenced to 26 years` imprisonment and 17 years` non-parole; Cheng Fucai and Tang Qiancheng were sentenced to 23 years` imprisonment and 15 years` non-parole. At the end of their sentences, they will all be deported.
