A man allegedly sprayed a substance similar to pepper spray into the air at the Barossa hotel in (Barossa Valley), Barossa Valley, before four people were taken to hospital for treatment by paramedics.
At 08:45 on Nov. 9, police received reports that a man sprayed a substance into the air before leaving the hotel.
The ambulance arrived at the scene, and four people were taken to the hospital for medical treatment, but there were no reports of serious injuries. The police found the suspect near the scene of the accident.
The 41-year-old man from (Lyndoch) Lindoch was charged with four counts of serious assault. He was granted bail and will appear before the (Tanunda) District Court in Tanouda in December.
