A girl in Perth suffered a severe electric shock Saturday, the Daily Mail reported. She was confirmed brain-dead on Friday.

Woods (Denishar Woods), 11, lives with his family in a public housing in Bear Stearns (Beldon). She was electrocuted when she touched the garden faucet on Saturday night and was taken to Princess Margaret Hospital (Princess Margaret Hospital) where she remained in intensive care.

Earlier this week, doctors informed his family of brain damage in Woods. By Friday morning, the results confirmed that Woods`s injury caused his brain death.

The tragedy could be due to a problem with neutral wires in residential power supply systems, said Banck (Michael Bunko), head of Western Australia`s electricity management department.

The cause of the accident is under investigation, with lawyers saying Western Australia`s government could face multimillion Australian dollar claims.

Woods`s mother says she and the other six children are now afraid of touching power switches or metal. Grief, she said, since the accident, home is a very painful thing for her.

West Australian Housing Director (Peter Tinley) Tingray said Woods`s mother wanted to move and the department had advised her to consider another five-bedroom home. At this stage, however, she temporarily dwells in motels and stays with her relatives.
