Shortly after 6 p.m., a light plane crashed into a paddock in Elder Smith Drive, Lake Mawson.

The accident took place on the outskirts of Parafield Airport. The plane dropped the wire when it crashed and tumbled onto the roof when it crashed.

Two witnesses told 9NEWS that they were trying to keep the live wires from contact with the pilot. Witnesses gave first aid to the pilot before police, fire and ambulance personnel arrived.

The pilot, a 55-year-old man, suffered injuries to his chest, leg and arm. The injured were taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment.

It is believed that when the plane crashed, the pilot tried to land at the nearby Parafield airport.

The cause of the crash was under investigation。

Near the scene of the accident, nearly 700 households and enterprises lost power because of the crash.
