Before the court opened, the victim`s mother slapped Rosry on the spot for unbearable emotion, and was later asked to leave the court by the judge.

Recently, a Chinese student was severely beaten to death court in Australia, causing renewed concern.

The perpetrator denied "intentional killing" in court, arguing that he was manslaughter.

The victim was Jeremy, a male student from Qingdao, China, two years ago.

Jeremy, then 19, was still in Yarra Valley Grammar language school and was about to go to college.

It was Friday evening when Hu walked into an alley in Melbourne Chinatown when several men grabbed him.

They knocked Jeremy to the ground, trampled and kicked him in the head, causing him to lose consciousness and fall into a coma.

Jeremy never woke up in the hospital.

However, at the trial yesterday, the suspect said he did not intentionally kill, but negligent injury, the court would like to give a light sentence.

The source of the case, according to foreign media reports, is that suspect W (17) was obsessed with Jeremy`s girlfriend and therefore hated Jeremy.

On April 15, 2016, W made an excuse to make an appointment with Jeremy in Chinatown.

W brought three helpers: 20-year-old (Sirui Luo (female), 22-year-old Wan Shengliang (Shengliang Wan, male) and 23-year-old Liu Hanjie (Hanjie Liu, male).

When Jeremy arrived in Chinatown as promised, he was caught and beaten by the gang.

In the 3-minute video shown in court, you can see how Jeremy was beaten up.

The video showed that Jeremy had been kicked to the ground and curled up painfully.

However, Wan Shengliang is still kicking Jeremy in the head with his feet.

Another suspect pulled Wan Shengliang away during the period, but Wan returned to continue to kick Jeremy.

Prosecutor Brendan (Brendan Kissane) said the cause of Jeremy`s death was Wan Shengliang`s five kick attacks.

"he kicked the victim in the head, causing the victim to fracture his skull and bleed his brain."

Brendan said Wan Shengliang`s move was to deliberately inflict serious harm on the victim, which is the definition of murder.

He told the jury: "if you don`t want to murder, you certainly won`t keep attacking a person`s head because everyone knows the head is fragile."

But Wan Shengliang`s lawyer said the jury should consider manslaughter.

After the beating, his client went back to check on Wan Shengliang`s condition and called for the victim to be taken to the hospital by telephone.

"Wan Shengliang has offered to pay medical expenses, and apologized."

Can an apology save a man`s life? Jeremy was hung in the alley after losing consciousness, and the violators went away.

Instead of going to the hospital, he chose to sleep at a hotel in downtown Melbourne.

The next day, he felt very uncomfortable and was taken to the hospital by his friend around 7: 00 in the morning.

By then, he had lost consciousness and had to rely on the hospital`s life-support system to breathe.

The hospital tried its best to save his young life, and a week later he was declared dead by doctors.

Last year, the court sentenced one of the criminals, Liu Hanjie.

The judge said: "when the victim no longer has the ability to fight back, Liu Hanjie still kicked the other side in the abdomen, still kicking two feet in the head," the judge said.

"it`s an act of extreme violence, causing even greater harm to an innocent person."

Liu Hanjie was eventually sentenced to only six months in prison.

A classmate said that he and Liu Hanjie have studied in the same class.

"in the impression, Liu Hanjie has a bad temper and speaks very fast. I had misunderstood him because of the trifles, and he said he was going to bring me an appointment. "

The classmate said, did not expect Liu Hanjie to commit the evil act of beating people to death.

Among the suspects was a girl, Rosry, who was 20 years old at the time of the incident.

She confessed to her crime after kicking Jeremy, with her foot.

Rosry was imprisoned for 17 days after his arrest and flew back to China after paying a fine of A $5000.

Ms. Yuan, Jeremy`s mother, expressed her anger and anguish in a statement.

"Jeremy is the pride and hope of our family, and the pain of losing him makes it impossible for us to start a new life."

Jeremy is the only child in the family and has no brothers and sisters. The loss of a middle-aged child is unbearable for parents in their late fifties.

"Jeremy is a very good child with a good heart. I didn`t expect to suffer such an impudence. "

On the day of the trial, the victim`s father watched the video of his son besieged and couldn`t help crying.

When her mother, Ms. Yuan, saw the suspect coming in, she couldn`t help slapping her in the face.

Compared to the cost of Jeremy`s loss of life, the suspects were punished too lightly.
