Reporter Xin Yee Yan Zhe reported that the murder of a Chinese woman in Sydney, Yu Qi, was held on August 15 at the (Burwood) District Court in Baohuo, but only minutes after the hearing was announced that the case had to be retried until October 10 because of the need to find more evidence. Yu Qi parents appeared in court, demanding severe punishment of the murderer.
At around 9 a. M., several media gathered in Baohuo District Court, waiting for Yu Qi`s case to begin. Around 09:30, Yu Qi`s parents, accompanied by her former colleagues, appeared and sat in the auditorium. His mother, wearing sunglasses, cried in a low voice, while his father, Yu Zhihe, looked sad. The suspect Dong Shuo did not attend, nor did he attend by video.

However, only a few minutes after the trial was announced, the case was adjourned until October 10, and the prosecution will have eight weeks to gather additional evidence and prepare a summary of the evidence, (Brief of Evidence). Around 10:00, Yu Qi`s parents left the court. Baohuo court documents show that the suspect, 19 years old, is accused of murder landlord Yu Qi between 7: 30 p.m. on June 8, 2018 and 9:00 on June 9.
