A mysterious Chinese buyer has caused a sensation in Sydney`s Hills District district, buying a French country-style mansion in Dural for 10.85 million yuan.

The price hit a record high in the city, more than 2 million more than the previous record, but locals are intrigued by the rumoured identity of the buyer.
The two-hectare mansion, which was bought by Zheng Junlong, has been approved by the Foreign Investment Review Committee (FIRB), according to records.
According to sources, Mr. Zheng is vice chairman of (Lens Technology), a touchscreen glass supplier, and the husband of Zhou Qunfei, China`s richest self-made woman.

However, brokers involved in the auction declined to comment, and Mr. Zheng`s lawyers rebutted claims that the super-rich couple were buyers of luxury homes.
In recent years, the luxury home in the Sydney suburb of Dural has attracted high-end buyers in China, following record-setting deals in the area by Liu Yingxia (Yingxia Liu,) and Ye Yunxiu (Yunshou Ye,), who bought a property for 8.8 million last year.
There is a reason why people are so interested in the rumor that Zhou Qunfei bought a luxury house. The legendary woman, who started from scratch as a teenage factory worker, founded one of the world`s largest suppliers of glass screens, for which Apple and Samsung are big customers.

Forbes estimates that she is worth $seven billion seven hundred and fifty nine million nine hundred and ninety nine thousand nine hundred and ninety nine. You know, when she was a child, she grew up in a poor rural area in Hunan Province.
In 2015, in an interview with Fairfax Media, she said her mother died when she was five. Her father was a former soldier, but he was partially blind in an industrial accident. She was raised by making bamboo baskets and chairs and repairing bicycles.
Zhou Qunfei founded the Watch Glass Factory in 1993, and a decade later he won a contract to supply Motorola with glass covers. In 2007, Apple opened the iPhone market, and Lance Technology became its main supplier. Zhou Qunfei to the direction of the world`s rich took another huge step.
According to Forbes, the company is currently valued at $11.4 billion and employs 82395 people. Zhou Qunfei is still chief executive and her husband, Zheng Junlong, is also a director.
Zhou Qunfei is a workaholic, and the rest suite behind her office has also been relished in China. This makes her holiday home in Dural an ideal place to rest.
The property, called "Moncur Estate", covers an area of over 1200 square meters and is surrounded by a trimmed garden with a 15-meter-long swimming pool, spa facilities, tournament-sized tennis courts, stables, vegetable gardens, playgrounds and 6-car garages.
Built by former owner David Gay (David Guy) and his wife Jackie (Jackie), the seven-bedroom sandrock house has a magnificent living room, a luxury billiard room, a family theater, and a leisure and open living room at the rear. A marble kitchen with a freezer and a separate room.
Before the house was sold, Christie`s International`s agents, Darren Cortis (Darren Curtis) and Sydney Country Living`s Shane Hutton (Shane Hutton), asked for $10.95 million. Both people declined to comment on the rumours.
