A couple recently found a dying stingray on the beach, the Daily Mail reported Saturday.
Cassandra Touck and her husband were swimming in Corio Bay, central Queensland, Australia, when they found a struggling stingray whose body had been torn off large chunks of meat.
Ms. Touck wrote on her Facebook page at the Queensland fishing Center: "I didn`t expect to swim. I found it in the water," Ms. Touck wrote on her Facebook page at the Queensland fishing Center.
The Facebook post was shared nearly 150 times in a matter of hours.
It is still a mystery about what happened to the stingray.
The photo sparked a debate on social media over whether the stingray was attacked by a shark or by a cold fisherman.
Corio Bay Tide Bay is a popular fishing port. Stingray is rare in the waters near Yepan.
The last stingray attack in the area was reported in 2015, when a fisherman was stung in the leg of Corio Bay.
Mark Gunn, president of the Yeppoon Lifetime Club, said he had never seen a stingray attack in his 10-year patrol on the beach. "when the tide recedes, they can be close to the edge of the water, mostly in the indentation on the beach." Cover news rattan compilation
