Mountain fires have always been one of the most common natural disaster in Australia.

But when the fire spread and lit half of the east coastline, causing 6 million residents to face "disaster-level" warnings and forced the closure of 600 schools, the issue gradually shifted to what made the hill fire season worse.

Where`s the burn?

As of 5 p.m. on Tuesday (Nov. 12), there were more than 50 hill fires in New South Wales, but half of them were out of control.

Fifteen mountain fires in the northeast have reached a state of emergency, and that number is still rising.

As of 5: 00 p.m. on Tuesday (November 12), 15 fires in the new state had reached a state of emergency.

Part of the fire is: Torrington (Torrington). On the central coast of (Mid Coast), and Queensland on the central coast of (South Turramurra), south of Sydney.

The new state reached eight fire points of "alert and action" (Watch and act level), longitudinally distributed from the northern junction to the shoulder valley.

In Kunzhou, firefighters are fighting fire at 55 fire sites, eight of which are at the level of vigilance and action.

Fire departments will warn local residents to evacuate as soon as possible.

On Monday, New State Governor Gladys Bergillian (Gladys Berejiklian) declared a seven-day state of emergency.

(Queensland Fire and Emergency Services), the Queensland fire and emergency department, confirmed that at least 11 house had been burned since Saturday.

How to calculate the Fire risk Grade

The (Greater Sydney), Grand Hunter (Greater Hunter), Iravara (Illawarra) and the Solhavin (Shoalhaven) area of Greater Sydney are facing "disaster-level" fire warnings.

Specifically, the northern Sydney Horsby (Hornsby), west of Pengliss (Penrith), southwest of Campbell town of (Campelltown), Sutherland (Sutherland) and Wolonggang (Wollongong) and Newcastle (Newcastle) surrounding the population.

In addition, fire warnings for (Northern Slopes) on the northern slope of (New England), New England, and (North Western) on the north slope of New England, range (Central Ranges), central range (Southern Ranges), south of (North Coast), on the north coast, and (North Western) on the northwest, were rated as "extreme".

Fire risk grade is a method to measure the difficulty of extinguishing fire.

The fire risk grade is divided into six grades: middle and low degree (Low-Moderate), high (High), very high (Very High), severe (Severe), extreme (Extreme), disaster level (Catastrophic), all belong to warning state.

So how is the fire risk rating calculated?

Clarie Yeo, an expert at the Australian Meteorological Agency, said the fire risk rating was based on weather forecasts, relative humidity, wind speed and shrubs. In fact, it is a calculation of dryness.

Once these factors occur change, the fire risk level will also change. For example, if you encounter disaster level warning, it is usually accompanied by environmental factors such as high temperature, strong wind, surface drought and so on.

How did the fire burn?

Last weekend, the fire in the northern part of the new state has burned more than 850000 hectares. The devastating Black Saturday fire in Victoria in 2009 was only half that size, about 430000 hectares.

Speaking to ABC < 7.30 > program, Professor Mark Howden (Mark Howden) of the Institute for Climate change at the Australian National University said the mountain fire season appeared to have been extended.

"so they started earlier and ended later, so the traditional idea of the forest fire season in Australia seems to be out of date, just like anywhere else, such as California," he said.

"A key driver is temperature, but at the same time, we see a serious drought here, which also dries the fuel and dries the air, so we encounter a very dry wind, which is the main case of the fire."

Residents put out a fire at a house near Taree, Xinzhou.

Based on the analysis of fire warning data, it is found that jungle fires in various parts of Australia deteriorate between 1973 and 2010.

"what we are seeing is an increase in the number of fires, an increase in the severity of fires, an increase in combustion area and an increase in fire season," Professor Howden said.

"these are all things we expected under climate change, but unfortunately, the forecast is going to get worse."

Temperatures in Australia have risen by one point since 1910, according to (CSIRO), the federal scientific and industrial research organization.

The air quality is worse than that in Beijing

Smoke from jungle fires in Kunzhou and new states shrouded the southeast corner of Australian territory.

According to real-time air data from the Ministry of Environment and Science on Monday, air quality in Brisbane and Gold Coast, Kunzhou, is very poor, compared with Beijing.

Experts advise people to stay indoors and not to take part in outdoor activities.

The unprecedented fire has sparked controversy over the link between climate change and the intensity of forest fires.

A joint report by the Australian Weather Service and CSIRO found that climate change led to longer fire seasons.

The Green Party asked the Liberal Party government to respond immediately to climate change.

But Australian Deputy Prime Minister Michael McCormack (Michael McCormack) said the fire should not be politicized.

"[victims] they don`t need some pure enlightened and awakened metropolitan environmental nonsense," McCormack said.

Labour and the new governor, Gladys Bergillian (Gladys Berejiklian), support the deputy prime minister`s view.

"I certainly don`t think it`s appropriate to have a political debate on the reasons at this stage," Bergitklien said.

In an interview with Sky News (Sky News), Barnaby Joyce (Barnaby Joyce), the back councillor of the National Party, said the victims of the new state hill fire were "most likely" to vote for the Green Party.

Carol Sparks (Carol Sparks), mayor of (Glen Innes Severn Council) in Glenn Innes Sevin, new state, said:

"all dams, streams and rivers are dry, and we need to pay attention to what we will do about it in the future."
