A batch of snowflake glass balls destined for Sydney, seemingly pure and harmless, actually hide the deadly liquid methamphetamine. The A $1 million smuggling drug was successfully intercepted by Australian Border Service (Australian Border Force) officials.

In a batch of snowflake glass balls shipped from Canada to Australia, Australian Border Service officials found that the water soaked in statues of lovely alpacas and sloths was actually liquid methamphetamine, the Daily Telegraph reported.

Yannopoulos (Danielle Yannopoulos), local commander of the Australian Border Service, said: "drug smugglers have found a very imaginative way to come to hold drug, but they are not aware that we have more and more mature technology to detect all forms of illegal drugs."

Of the 15 snowflake balls planned to be sent to southeastern Sydney, a total of 7.5 liters of liquid methamphetamine. When drug dealer gets the snowflake ball, it can be converted into crystal form with a simple drying process.

It is reported that Australian Border Service officials intercepted the snowflake glass balls at Sydney Airport on May 31 this year. Australian federal police have been involved in the investigation and have not yet arrest any suspect.
