A 5-year-old stepdaughter of (Elizabeth Bay), a hairdresser in Sydney`s Elizabeth Bay suspected of drunken sexual invasion, was arrested Monday by police arrest.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, the 36-year-old man (unnamed for law reasons) was charged with one count of sexual intercourse with a child under the age of 10, and one count of deliberately enticing a child under the age of 10 to commit sexual intercourse. The man appeared in the Waverly District Court (Waverley Local Court) Hall on Tuesday morning.

The defendant`s partner, the mother of the girl and her parents, attended the hearing Tuesday morning to bail guarantee, the suspect and pay the men A $15,000 (A $20, 000) of the bail gold.

In her affidavit to court, the girl`s mother described defendant as a "good father" and had a "close bond" with her daughter. The man`s defence, lawer Hughes (Tom Hughes), said that in this case, the girl`s mother and her parents` support for the man showed everything. But prosecutors Edwards (Liam Edwards) retorted that the mother`s guarantee for a man was simply a means of living because the woman would not be able to pay back the car loan if the man were to go to prison.

Court said the girl`s mother confronted the suspect, sexual invasion`s daughter, earlier this month, who threatened to inflict self-harm. The girl`s mother then asked the suspect to talk to her daughter herself.

In addition, the girl was taken to hospital for sexual invasion five days after the incident. According to hospital tests, girls were not able to specify which part of their body had been improperly touched, Hughes said, noting that the definition of "sex" might not be clear at all. Edwards said the lack of physical evidence is not a strong basis, because the time of inspection is five days after the incident.

The hairdresser is reported to have secured bail this morning after promising to pay A $20, 000 in bail gold and stay away from girls.
