The continuing drought is sweeping parts of eastern Australia and southern Australia. On the 8th, a local farmer posted a video online showing about 1300 thirsty cows frantically "besieging" a water truck, scrambling to drink water.

The farmers had to drive 50 to 70 kilometers away to get the water for the cattle because the water pump on the ranch was not able to pump out the water.
