Police in Sydney accused a man and three teenagers of three alleged serial robberies in CBD, all men, in one robbery in which a male victim was suspected of carrying a knife, threat.

The female police officer suffered a slight head injury and was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.

Paramedics arrived at the scene to treat the male police officer.

The 22-year-old male suspect was taken to Redfern police station on charges of armed robbery, armed resisting arrest, theft of a vehicle, dangerous driving, unlicensed driving, obstruction of official duties and possession of prohibited drug.

The man, who does not allow bail, will appear before the Parramatta District Court on Thursday, Aug. 2.

Three other suspects, two of whom were 16 years old and the other 17, were taken to the Newton police station.

Two 16-year-old suspects were charged with armed robbery, theft of vehicles and obstruction of official duties. One 16-year-old suspect was also charged with violating bail rules, and another 16-year-old was charged with burglary in serious circumstances.

The 17-year-old suspect was charged with vehicle theft and burglary.

None of the three suspects allowed bail and is due to attend juvenile court on Aug. 2.
