Sydney is expected to experience heavy rainfall in the next 24 hours, equal to a month`s amount of rain and possibly flooding, the Daily Mail reported.

It is reported that as a low-pressure system nears the new state, the (Bureau of Meteorology) issued Wednesday flood monitoring and extreme weather warnings for parts of the state.

Starting Wednesday, Sydney is expected to see strong winds and dangerous surfing conditions.

Weatherman Payne (Anita Pyne) said Sydney and (Illawarra) will see the strongest rainfall, with rainfall expected to reach 100mm, and parts of the region could exceed 200mm. The southern coast of (South Coast), the central coast of (Central Coast), and the Blue Mountain region of (Blue Mountains) will also be affected. At the same time, there will also be destructive winds, gust winds up to more than 90 kilometers per hour.

The storm will start on Wednesday morning and last for 12 hours. Strong winds will ease Thursday afternoon as the low-pressure system gradually leaves the coastal area. But Sydney`s Rain Water weather will continue until Thursday, until Friday begins to clear up.
