On Thursday afternoon, resident Hanford (Sonia Handford) drove to (Clifton), 150 kilometers south-west of Brisbane, to work. On her way, she witnessed the abnormal weather event.
Hanford said she had seen the post-tornado scene 12 months ago, but had never really seen it.
Hanford parked his car on the side of the road and photographed the spectacle.
