A fire broke out in a building in Sydney Chinatown. The firemen rushed to the scene and could see black smoke spreading over the sky.
A spokesman for the New State Fire Rescue said firefighters entered the ground floor of the two-storey commercial building at 12:53 to fight the fire.
Three staff members were assigned to Dixon Street. in Haymarket by 1 p.m., she said.
Fire crews in the new state tweeted after 1 p. M., saying the fire in the hall was under control. They are checking the second floor.
Everyone in the building was questioned by the police.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
