Horrific domestic violence in Northwest Sydney (Photo No. 9)
A man was killed and an elderly woman seriously injured in a horrific domestic violence in northwest Sydney on Monday.
At about 11:00 on Monday, NSW emergency service personnel received reports of a man being stabbed and rushed to the (North Richmond) house in Sydney`s North Richmond, Radio 9 reported.
New state paramedics arrived at the scene and found a man in his 40s dead.
A woman in her 60s, allegedly the deceased`s mother-in-law, was medically treated at the scene. She was subsequently taken to Westminster Hospital (Westmead hospital), in critical condition, and the nature of her injuries is unclear.
There was also a woman in her 40s, allegedly the wife of the deceased. She was only slightly injured and was not taken to the hospital. She was being questioned by the police.
At the time of the incident, there were two 13-year-old girls in the house, not injured.
Police officers from the local police district of Hoxbury, (Hawkesbury Police Area Command), have now blocked the scene and are conducting investigations. If you have any information, please call the crime line 1800 333,000 as soon as possible.
