On Friday, a 12-year-old boy drove 1300 kilometers west of New York in a family car alone.

By the time he was stopped, he had been cut off near the border between New York and South Australia and was on his way to Perth, alone in the car.

When the high-speed patrol stopped him, he was surprised by his behavior.

After investigation, they learned that the 12-year-old, the Kendall family is looking for a missing boy.

Let`s start by looking back at the little boy`s self-driving circuit-

At 11:00 on Friday, the boy ran away from his home in Kendall, on the eastern coast of New prefecture.

From the moment he left, his parents immediately reported the case to the police and began to look for it.

The boy stole a diesel Mazda CX-3, and started heading west.

Until 6 a. M. the next morning, he was on his way-a Caltex gas station in central New York-with a total of A $19 worth of diesel.

Instead of paying, he drove straight out of the gas station and headed west.

After that, the gas station manager, Vamshi Reddy, said the boy didn`t look like 12 years old, so the clerk didn`t shut down the pump immediately.

At 11:00 Saturday morning, high-speed patrol police at Broken Hill noticed that the car`s bumper had been towed to the ground and stopped the boy`s vehicle.

The vehicle was examined to be damaged to a certain extent, the police officer said: "it is clear that there were some accidents on the road."

The boy was detained at the Broken Hill police station before his parents arrived, and they are expected to arrive this afternoon.

According to Young Offenders Act, the boy will face three charges, including unpaid petrol and unlicensed driving.

Why would a 12-year-old boy want to go to WA alone without a guardian?

More details of the matter are still under investigation.

Some netizens said: this is really a smart child! All right, driver, there`s no ticket for 1300 kilometers!

"he should have a good talk with Mazda about the cost of publicity."

But there are still many netizens said: on the highway and this car passed by other vehicles, count you big!
