According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Coles supermarket launched mini-grocery toys to customers, and in less than two days, the full set of toys was scrambled to nearly A $1000 on the shopping site.

It is reported that on Wednesday, Coles supermarket launched "mini-store" toys to customers, including 30 collections of popular grocery mini-models, such as Australian national sauce Vegemite, Greek yogurt Chobani, Colgate toothpaste (Colgate). Customers can get a mini toy at random for every A $30, so collecting a full set of toys will cost at least A $904 (A $4 in boxes).

Some of the customers who received the full set of toys were resold on eBay, an online shopping site, with some asking for as much as A $999. Others tried to sell a single toy for more than A $22 each.

It is understood that the number of toys available to customers is random, but a spokesman for Coles said the number of toys per toy was average.

In addition to grocery mini toys, customers can also buy other types of toys, such as shopping carts (A $10), shopping baskets (A $2), aprons and bags (A $8), mini store stores (A $10) and so on.

Coles launched the campaign primarily to stimulate sales. A spokesman for the supermarket said the response from customers to the "mini-store" was very enthusiastic, and the supermarket was pleased to see customers looking for ways to gather the collection of toys.
