A 5-year-old boy from Carlingford, Sydney, was assassinated at home this morning and his grandmother then called the police. However, after the boy was sent to the hospital, he was declared dead because of the invalidation of the rescue.
According to reports, the case occurred at about 7 am this morning, the boy was stabbed at home with a number of stab wounds. The boy`s grandmother rushed the boy outside the house after the boy was stabbed and called the police.
The police rushed to the stand-alone house in Carlingford after receiving the police.
New state police reported that they suspected it was a domestic violence case and had arrested a man.
The new state police said the boy`s grandmother, who was about 60 years old, fled her home with the injured boy to nearby Mosley St and called the emergency number 000 to the police.
The boy`s grandmother was frightened by the case and received urgent treatment outside the independent house.
Police and paramedics arrived and rushed the injured boy to Westmead Children`s Hospital, but died around 09:30. The boy`s grandmother was treated at the scene for excessive shock.
Police have arrested a 36-year-old suspect who is believed to have known the victim and taken him to the Castle Hill police station for questioning. The police are still investigating the case further.
