According to 9news, a small plane crashed in the northern suburbs of Adelaide, knocked down a large number of wires, and witnesses and emergency workers have arrived to provide assistance to the pilot.

Just after 6 p. M., in a paddock near Elder Smith Drive in Mawson Lakes. The small plane had an accident at the edge of Parafield airport. The plane flipped when it crashed, toppled down and knocked down a large piece of wire at the scene.

Two witnesses told 9 NEWS, that before police, firefighters and ambulance workers arrived, they managed to keep the pilot away from the broken wire and give him first aid.

The pilot, a 55-year-old man who was injured in his chest, leg and arm, has been taken to Adelaide Royal Hospital.

When the plane crashed, it was believed that the pilot was trying to land the plane at nearby Parafield airport, and encountered some problems landing.

Police are investigating the cause of the accident. The accident caused power outages in as many as 700 houses and businesses nearby.
