Chinese female students hit a car in Sydney, her head was seriously injured and her life was in critical condition.

A 17-year-old Chinese student was knocked down by a light truck in northwest Sydney yesterday afternoon and is still in critical condition at the hospital, Radio 9 reported.

At 4:35 on Tuesday, the school girl was hit by a Toyota Hilux light truck on (Baulkham Hills) Windsor Road in Baoqin Mountain.

She was seriously injured in the head and was taken to Westmead Children`s Hospital (Westmead Children's Hospital) for treatment.

"Careflight rescue helicopters and four road rescue teams responded as she was seriously injured," Passel (Brian Parsell), inspector general of (NSW Ambulance), the new state ambulance agency, said yesterday.

"the paramedics did everything they could to treat the girls, and we did everything we could," Passel said.

It is reported that the driver did not get injured in the car accident. Police confirmed that he was taken to Westmead Hospital (Westmead Hospital) for mandatory blood and urine tests.

After the accident, Windsor Road was closed and drivers had to bypass Victoria Road (Victoria Av) and Exhibition Center Road (Showground Rd)., according to New State Traffic`s Real-time broadcast of (Live Traffic NSW).
