Lily (Lily), a 5-year-old girl in Sydney, may never have thought she had the power to drag her fainted mother near her home into the driveway and turn to her neighbors for help.

Lily and her mother, Sasha (Sasha), were at their home in (Frenchs Forest), Frenches Forest, last week, Radio 9 reported. As a result of the cooling, the doors and windows of their house were closed and the old heater was turned on to keep them warm.

But then, the mother and daughter began to have dizziness. They came outside the house for a breath of fresh air. During the period, Sasha returned to the house to turn off the heater, but eventually fainted near the door of the house because of carbon monoxide poisoning.

Although 5-year-old Lily was also lying on the path in front of the house because of poisoning, when she saw Sasha faint, she got up and tried her best to drag her mother into the driveway and turned to her neighbor for help.

The mother and daughter were eventually taken to hospital for treatment, and they were diagnosed with carbon monoxide poisoning. Sasha, with a concentration of 21% in her blood, stayed in the hospital for three days.

Firefighters said she was lucky to survive.

Sasha said she was very grateful to her daughter and proud of her.

It is reported that after the incident, firefighters went to the house for gas concentration monitoring to ensure that the mother and daughter live safely. On Friday, they visited the mother and daughter and praised the brave Lily.

It is understood that this is the second family carbon monoxide poisoning occurred in Xinzhou this month. Earlier this month, a pool heater at a 10 million mansion in (Vaucluse), Sydney, broke down, causing all seven carbon monoxide poisoning in a family, almost tragic.

New state fire and rescue agencies warn that unsafe heaters in the home can cause fires or fill homes with dangerous smoke.
