On Sunday, a man in North Sydney tried to crush a police officer in a car and was later indicted by police officer arrest.

At about 04:30 on Sunday, police were attending the Memorial Day ceremony in St Leonards Park when they heard a very loud noise nearby and a car was coming.

A man in Sydney was arrested for trying to do it to the police

A police officer approached the Subaru Outback car parked on Ridge Street and spoke to a man in the driver`s seat.

The man allegedly left the scene suddenly while the police were talking to him, causing the police to be hit in the arm by the door frame.

Police said the car then turned around the end of the street and began to crash towards the police.

It is said that the driver was not injured, but had to take "evasive action" to not be knocked down.

In a statement, police said arrest had a 25-year-old man. Police found that the man was driving a Subaru Outback car intended to knock down the police who spoke to him, but the car soon hit a concrete guardrail in Albert Street, north of Sydney.

"he didn`t pass the roadside breathing test," a police spokesman said.

"he was taken to the Chatswood police station, where he was examined by breath and read 0.139."

The 25-year-old man was charged with assaulting police officers on duty, using offensive weapons to prevent legal detention, negligent driving, medium-range drunk driving and dangerous driving.

He was rejected by the police and his driving licence was revoked.

The man was tried in a local court on Monday.
