According to the Daily Telegraph, on New year`s Eve, a large number of people poured into the urban area of Sydney to watch fireworks displays or celebrations, causing the toilet to be overcrowded, and many people were forced to queue up in front of the toilet for up to one and a half hours. These include some elderly people.

It is reported, New year`s Eve, due to the flow of people out to celebrate activities, some toilets in front of long queues. At one point, there were thousands of people lining up outside the (The Rocks) toilet in the rocky area. Some people tried to slip into the queue and were angrily criticized by other partygoers.

Some men who did not want to line up even ran to nearby fences or orchards to settle, while families were picnicking not far away.

Cheree Mitchell, from the Broken Hill, first arrived in Sydney for a half-hour before the toilet, and the Sydney City Council should be ashamed of it. They should have done better. Mitchell also said that the toilet he used was disgusting that night.

Brendley (Elizabeth Bradley), a British tourist, also suffered from a long queue in front of the toilet, giving her a terrible first impression of Sydney. Brendley said she was an elderly woman who had been lining up for a long period of time and that she felt the Sydney authorities were not doing a good job.
