Australia`s largest kangaroo stands 2 meters tall after a worker from the Australian Department of basic Industry in New South Wales photographed Australia`s largest kangaroo in the wild.

The photographer`s name was Peter Tisdale (Peter Teasdale), who was looking at the wild dog`s "camera trap" (note: a field observation device, mostly used in ecological research). As soon as he looked up, he saw the kangaroo, up to 2 meters high, squatting aside.

"it doesn`t show aggression, it just stands straight, as if it were vowing to rule here." Peter says he has worked in many national parks and encountered countless kangaroos in the jungle, but this is only the biggest he has ever seen. To avoid a head-on war with the giant, he had to adopt a "respectful and humble" strategy. "you make yourself small so they don`t feel threatened," he said.

One of the symbolic species, Australia now has about 60 million wild kangaroos, two and a half times the total population, and it`s not surprising that the kangaroos suddenly popped out of the road when they hit them in the wild. This year, Australia plans to eliminate more than 1 million kangaroos to protect endangered grasslands and wildlife.
