Under a new Morrison government plan, the number of refugee settled in major Australian cities will be reduced.

According to the Daily Mail, under the government`s planned immigration restructuring, at least half of Australia`s refugee will settle outside Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane by 2022.

Morrison government will today announce plans to increase the number of refugee settled outside major cities, as well as Australia`s support for humanitarian refugee and its changes.

Last year, less than 40 per cent of the 18750 refugee settled in Australia went to remote areas, while the rest of refugee settled in one of the main cities on the east coast.

According to the change of this policy, more refugee will be placed in 21 areas outside the provincial capital city in the future. These locations include Wollongong, Newcastle, Wollongong,, New South Wales, Coffs Harbour, Amidar Armidale, Wagavaga Wagga Wagga and Orbury Albury., port of Coves, New South Wales.

Australia`s government hopes that more refugee placement in Australian cities will boost local economic and provide new immigrants with better jobs and affordable living conditions.

To increase refugee employment opportunities, government will also pilot a new adult immigration English training program and a technical visa system.

(David Coleman), minister of the Department of Immigration, citizen and Multicultural Affairs in Australia, said the reforms would lead to "efficient and economic returns" and better support for refugee and the communities in which they live.

"We want to ensure that all refugee and humanitarian representatives have the best opportunity to adapt to Australian life, get jobs and contribute to their new communities," Gao said.

"Financial independence, English skills and interpersonal relationship make it easier for humanitarian participants to integrate into the community, take root and contribute to Australia`s economic," he said.

These changes are part of government`s response to the refugee Independent Review of Integration, Employment and Resettlement, which makes seven recommendations.

These include creating "greater opportunities" for refugee resettlement, better coordinating refugee services, and more helping humanitarian migrants prepare for employment.

The report also recommends that government "promote the benefits of regional settlement" and encourage communities to tap their potential.

Morrison government will also appoint an Australian federal immigration service coordinator within the Ministry of the Interior to oversee the refugee service.
