A severe traffic accident occurred on the Indian Ocean Road (Indian Ocean Drive), 30 kilometers from the small town of (Lancelin) in Lansling, Western Australia, at 3pm on the 9th. Three people have been killed and 10 injured in the face-to-face collision between a bus and a four-drive, towed RV. Lancelin, a town 127 kilometers north of Perth, sits off the coast of Western Australia.
Dozens of paramedics and firefighters arrived and spent a lot of time rescuing the injured from the wreckage of the vehicle. But one person died instantly and two others died after being rushed to hospital this morning. It is understood that there are no children among the injured.
At present, 10 people are still hospitalized, the situation is unknown.
Indian Ocean Road is one of the most dangerous sections of Western Australia, where six people died in a traffic accident last year.
